The Archetypes of The New Human
Four creative forces guiding our Hackathon
When we say The New Human, we don’t mean a prediction. We mean a practice.
At the CODAME ART+TECH Hackathon, we realized something important:
innovation doesn’t emerge from one type of mind. It emerges from archetypes in dialogue. So we defined four creative forces — not roles, not job titles — but energies that shape how we build the future together.
Turns ideas into tangible prototypes
The Alchemist doesn’t stay in abstraction.
They code. They solder. They test. They break things and rebuild them. They bridge the invisible and the physical.
Domain of expertise: tools, code, interactive tech, hardware
Strategic contribution: transforming concept into realityWithout The Alchemist, ideas remain beautiful theories.
Shapes meaning through narrative and metaphor
Technology without story is noise.
The Storyworld Architect creates emotional resonance. They build context. They ask:What does this mean?
What world are we inviting people into?Domain of expertise: experience design, narrative, metaphor
Strategic contribution: depth, emotional intelligence, symbolic coherenceWithout this archetype, innovation feels cold.
Thinks in relationships and consequences
The Systems Imagineer sees patterns others miss.
They map feedback loops. They anticipate second- and third-order effects. They ask the hard question:
If this scales, what happens next?
Domain of expertise: systems thinking, scenario planning, relational mapping
Strategic contribution: structural logic and long-term awarenessWithout this archetype, we build fast — and regret later.
Grounds technology in lived human experience
The Embodied Explorer brings us back to the body.
To perception. To feeling. To movement. They ask:
How does this feel in the hands?
In the room?
In the nervous system?Domain of expertise: perception, emotional experience, optics
Strategic contribution: anchoring innovation in physical and sensory realityWithout this archetype, we risk building futures no one can inhabit.
Why Archetypes?
Because The New Human is not a single discipline.
It’s a constellation.
During the Hackathon, we encourage teams to reflect:
Which archetype do you naturally embody?
Which one is missing from your team?
How can tension between archetypes become creative energy?
This is White Mirror innovation.
Not dystopian acceleration.
Not tech for tech’s sake.
But interdisciplinary, conscious, embodied creation.
If you’re joining the Creative Hackathon — in Milan, San Francisco, or online anywhere in the world — come as you are.
Alchemist. Architect. Imagineer. Explorer.
The future doesn’t arrive all at once.
It emerges through what we create together.
