“On Love” by Ivan Moreno and Delia Otetea at 3D Web Fest

On 30 June 2017, experience the most innovative, experimental and game-based projects from top thought leaders, influencers and creators at the 3D Web Fest. Artists working with WebGL, WebAudio, Javascript, CSS, HTML5, Three.js, and VR will showcase their creations in a mind-blowing festival of bleeding-edge tech. Now in its third year, over 15 artists will explore the theme of “connection” in a film festival setting.

The third annual 3D Web Fest is a fundraiser benefiting non-profit CODAME ART+TECH whose mission is to embrace innovation through creativity, play, and collaboration between companies, artists and technologists, building immersive, engaging, out of the ordinary experiences.

“On Love” is one of those projects!

“On Love”

“On Love” is a metaphor of two people finding each other and the stages that they go through in their connection. It starts with the tumultuous life of dating and finding a right partner. Then a prelude leading to the first kiss is presented. The two then connect and go through an infatuation phase, and in the end they start the journey of how we all came to be here — by creating a new life.

The project was created by Ivan Moreno — development and concept, Delia Otetea — concept and 3D/design, and Riccardo Castagnola — sound.

Delia Otetea

Ivan Moreno and Delia Otetea are a creative duo with a big passion for virtual 3D worlds and experiences. Delia Otetea is a 3D and graphical artist. She was born and raised in Romania, and now lives in Germany. Delia did a Master’s Degree in Digital Media where she first teamed up with Ivan in doing 3D interactive applications.

@Ivan Moreno studied Fine Arts and Graphic Design in the University of Bogota -Jorge Tadeo Lozano- in Colombia with a specialization in Digital Edition and Multimedia from the same university. Ivan recently finished his second specialization in the International Digital Media Master program from the University of Applied Sciences of Bremerhaven, Germany. Ivan took his first steps into web design about nine years ago and then he moved forward to interactive development. In the past three years Ivan’s focus has been related with 3D content creation and he’s going to stay a while exploring this area.

Together they are taking advantage of their skills and the updates in technology, and have been creating realistic 3D experiences in real-timesince 2011. They have also co-founded a studio, Plus 360 Degrees, where they create realistic 3D experiences for clients across industries. They have a strong attraction for everything that is 3D and how to bring it to a wider audience, and use the Web to reach this goal.
