Wen Yu is interested in how humans and machines co-create to expand the boundaries of empathy and aesthetics. Her vision focuses on nurturing imagination through interdisciplinary art curricula inspired by constructionist learning. Her recent research explores how AI can amplify creative agency, specifically looking at how intelligence—both natural and artificial—can shape new narrative experiences.

The New Human is an imaginative co-creator. For Yu, this means utilizing AI not as a replacement for human thought, but as a partner in building curiosity-driven worlds that foster empathy.
