Alessandra Leone focuses on the traces, data, and patterns that shape "The New Human". Her vision, developed through the StratoFyzika collective, treats identity like software that is learned and repeated through the body. She speculates on the swapping and exchange of identities, seeking to expose the blurry line between human agency and technological automation. Her work explores the uncanny spaces where humans are translated into code, asking what new perspectives these digital "in-between zones" open regarding the self, the body, and our relationship with others.
The New Human is...
The New Human is a system of software-like behaviors. For Leone, this means the self is increasingly rendered through digital code, leading to a future where we must navigate the profound shifts in perspective that occur when our physical bodies are translated into data patterns.
