Matteo is 15 years old, autistic – and an artist.
His drawings create small, precise worlds full of detail. Pictures that you don't skim over, but discover. Each one unique.
This short documentary film tells of Matteo's view of the world – and of the power of art as a language. It is about attention, perception and how quickly people who need more time and see things differently are overlooked.
Matteo's art is not a hobby.
It is his expression, his space, his path.
The New Human is...
The new human is a human that never judges a book by its cover. That looks behind, doesn’t follow the mainstream. Looks for the truth in art and expression, loves and looks how he can act nice, not talk nice.

Matteo’s dream is to bring his stories to life. However it’s done, it can be up to the team to decide.
Tools & Materials
Matteo uses color pencils and paper, any tools that the teams believes it help to bring his work to life, would be the what we can use at the ART+TECH Hackathon.
