Technical support for ML and real-time video processing.
Performance and research opportunities to expand “Human/ID”.
Collaborators interested in the intersection of dance and deepfakes.
Hen/i’s project, "Human/ID," approaches identity as code—something structured, learned, and executed like a machine running a program. Her vision draws a parallel between human behavior and computational systems, viewing the body as a shell and identity as a set of learnable programs—voice, gesture, personality—that can be studied, replicated, and potentially exchanged. She asks whether one can render a live Deepfake where elements of identity can be swapped, and what remains of the human essence when these elements are removed. Her work explores the "uncanny valley" and the gain or loss of self in digital spaces.
The New Human is...
The New Human is a renderable identity. For Hen/i, this archetype represents the body as a platform for swappable software, where the animation of the self is no longer fixed but can be temporarily replaced by another, exposing the blurry line between agency and automation.
