ART+TECH Aperitivo ✦ 3 - The New Human (Bodies in Transformation)
Exploring The New Human (Body) with CODAME co-founders, and Christopher Schutte and Vanessa Chang — mentors of CODAME ART+TECH (2026) Creative Hackathon
When: January 28, 2025 | 18:00–19:30 CET
Where: Online
Born in San Francisco’s creative tech scene, CODAME now bridges to Milan — linking makers, dreamers, and technologists across continents.
In this first series of Aperitivo, as part of the CODAME ART+TECH Festival (2026) leaning toward the Creative Hackathon in 2026, we’ll reimagine together what it means to be human in the age of collective intelligence.
Join CODAME for an evening that blurs boundaries between art, code, and consciousness. We invite you to imagine how collective intelligence might flow through the spaces between us and materialize in real time.

Speakers
The network of creative coders, designers, and artists that co-founders Bruno Fonzi and Jordan Gray cultivated from around the world sparked CODAME’s mission to passionately celebrate the fusion of art and technology. Since the inaugural CODAME ART+TECH Festival in 2010, held on a foggy rooftop in downtown San Francisco, their vision has inspired a brand of immersive, engaging, and out-of-the-ordinary experiences that continue to connect and empower creative communities globally.
We’ll also preview The New Human Creative Hackathon 2026, a two-day co-creation lab where artists, designers, and technologists prototype futures at the intersection of emotion, data, and imagination. Here, Christopher Schutte will share how transformation isn’t just discussed, it’s felt: each gesture, voice, or signal shaping a shared digital ecosystem, a living map of empathy and invention.
Vanessa Chang is a writer, scholar, curator, and educator who builds communities and conversations about our virtual and physical encounters with media and technology.
Vanessa Chang builds communities and conversations about art, technology, people, and planet. She writes, curates, and teaches about new and old media, the history and philosophy of technology, design, disability and creative access, cities, comics, animation, circuses, and more.
