“A-Saturday-Night” by Diego Marcos at 3D Web Fest
The third annual 3D Web Fest is a fundraiser benefiting non-profit CODAME ART+TECH whose mission is to embrace innovation through creativity, play, and collaboration between companies, artists and technologists, building immersive, engaging, out of the ordinary experiences.
“A-Saturday-Night” is one of those projects!
“A-Saturday-Night” is a fun experience around the idea of recording and reproducing tracking data. The mechanics are simple: Put your headset on, select an avatar, and dance. At the end of the countdown, and thanks to the magic of the web, you will get a link with the recorded dance that you can share instantly with anybody. The positions of the head and hands are sampled and persisted in a JSON format so they can be reproduced later.
